I graduated from Oakmont High School in Roseville and moved to Provo, Utah, to attend Brigham Young University. Upon completion of a Bachelor of Arts, I moved further east to attend the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I earned a Master's degree in Public Health, and then chose George Washington University for medical school, moving me yet again further east to Washington, D.C. After graduating from George Washington University, my wife and I were thrilled to return to sunny California where I completed my residency training in Emergency Medicine at UC Davis.

I am happy to begin my medical career with Kaiser Permanente. I chose to work at Kaiser, South Sacramento, because of the team of physicians and nurses who are outstanding at what they do.

In both high school and college I enjoyed playing sports; the Emergency Department gives me the opportunity to work as a team with fellow colleagues. It is gratifying to work with members of a team who share the common goal of providing exceptional medical care in the emergency department setting.

I am now settled in Roseville with my beautiful wife, our two sons and twin daughters. We enjoy baseball games, bike riding, and time together with family and friends.

My Credentials

Medical school George Washington University, Washington, DC
Residency UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, CA

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
