About Myself
I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but grew up in Southern California. I attended college at the University of California, Riverside and went on to Ross University Medical School in Dominica. I completed my internship and residency in internal medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in June 2004.
I joined the internal medicine department of Kaiser Permanente in September 2004 and presently work as a hospital based specialist at Dameron Hospital. As a hospital based specialist, I work with a small group of physicians that specializes in treating inpatients. I chose to work for Kaiser Permanente because I believe it has the resources to allow me to become the best possible physician I can be.
My favorite leisure activities include golf, tennis, and movies. I spend the majority of my time relaxing at home watching TV.
My practice philosophy as it applies to being a hospitalist is to stablilize and improve every patient in order to make a quick and full recovery. In those cases in which a patient may not recover, I will try to make him or her as comfortable and pain free as possible.
