Welcome to my Kaiser Permanente Physician Home Page. I hope you will use this site as a source of information for your obstetrical and gynecological concerns. I have included several links regarding women’s health issues that I feel may be beneficial.
I am a Women's Health Hospitalist. My focus is taking care of patients who are admitted to the Obsterics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) Department at Dameron Hopsital. If you or your loved one is being admitted to the hospital with Ob/Gyn concerns, I will be working with your regular Ob/Gyn physician to provide you the best possible care and ensure that your stay at Dameron Hospital is a satisfactory one.
About Me
I was born and raised in Taiwan. I obtained my medical degree at Chung-Shan Medical University, Taichun, Taiwan. I completed my Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) residency at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA. My medical interests include infertility, high risk obstetrics and surgery. I have been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology for 27 years, and I joined Kaiser Permanente since 2004. I am proud to be a part of this high quality medical team in this integrated system.
When I am not working, I like golfing, playing table tennis, swimming, bicycling and enjoying photography. I am married to my wonderful wife, Amy and have a daughter and a son. I am fluent in both English and Taiwanese, Chinese.
My Philosophy of Care
I am dedicated to giving you the best possible care. I will partner with your primary Obstetrics and Gynecology physician and you to provide your women’s health need. I am here to provide my best possible care to my patients as they were my sisters and mother.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
