Hello and welcome to my Homepage!

I am happy to join the Kaiser team as a pediatric occupational therapist serving the outpatient children and families as well as in the neonatal intensive care unit. I love working with and advocating for children and families. I have been fortunate to have worked with children of all abilities and backgrounds both domestically and abroad. My experiences with children with special needs range from specialized training with physical disabilities and certification in pediatric neurodevelopmental treatment to standardized evaluations of development. I have taught elementary, junior high and high school students in summer camp programs in Taiwan, China and Japan and helped to train orphanage caregivers on basic special needs care in rural Central China. I have a special interest in developing programs for children with special needs to facilitate participation and inclusion into their communities. I love music, dance, food, animals, and travel. I often try to include these fun and rich experiences into therapy sessions with children as well. I am thrilled to be joining such a great and talented group of therapists and staff at Kaiser Hayward/Union City.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
