My Biography

I received a degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco. I have been a Certified Addictions Counselor since 1994. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1995 because of the multi-disciplinary, team approach to treatment.

My healthcare philosophy is teaching physical and spiritual wellness through recovery. What I enjoy most about working in the field of Chemical Dependency is watching patients reclaim their lives, restore their families and return to their jobs and careers as happy, competent and fully functioning human beings. I have managed the Intensive Outpatient Program at the CDRP since 2003.

In my spare time I enjoy tinkering with my collection of vintage tube radios and running along the many beautiful trails and hills of the Bay Area.

Undergraduate Education: University of San Francisco 1999
Specialties or Board Certifications: Chemical Dependency Addiction Counselor (CAS)1994
Began Practice: 1992
Joined Kaiser Permanente: 1995

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
