I have been a Physical Therapist with Kaiser Permanente since 1985, treating patients with a variety of physical injuries and conditions. I enjoy the challenge of discovering the problems that might be inhibiting patients from reaching their optimal function. I strongly embrace evidence-based medicine, and incorporate current proven advances in my clinical practice.

My role as a health provider is to achieve realistic goals by incorporating my patients into a team approach. Patient participation is paramount to the success of any physical therapy program. This credo applies to orthopedic or sports patients of all ages.

My position as a faculty member in a world-wide post Graduate Physical Therapy program gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge, and challenge the student to be the best therapist possible.

My leisure activities include cycling, weight training, and encouraging my sons to maintain active and healthy lifestyles.

Don’t work out – TRAIN! Where do the largest potatoes grow? On the COUCH!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
