Welcome to My Home Page

As your physician, I value my relationship with you and I know that maintaining a good relationship means being able to communicate with each other. My colleagues and I have developed My Doctor Online so that we can stay in touch more easily. Because the better connected we are, the healthier you are.

My Background

I earned my undergraduate degree at Stanford University in Biological Sciences. I then traveled south for medical school at University of Southern California. Missing the open space of Northern California, I returned to complete my residency in Otolaryngology (ENT) at UC Davis Medical Center before joining the US Air Force as a Head and Neck Surgeon. After serving at Travis Air Force Base and Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan, I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2011.

I was attracted to Head and Neck Surgery by the diversity of the field and enjoy treating all problems of the ears, nose and throat. One of my favorite parts of this specialty is the opportunity to work with all age groups.

Professional Affiliations

  • American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery

On a Personal Note. . .

I moved to Northern California 22 years ago after growing up in Kansas City. My wife and I have two boys who keep us constantly on our toes. I enjoy running, camping, skiing and spending time outdoors with the kids.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
