I am a native Californian, born in Marin County and raised in Los Gatos. After graduating from Sarah Lawrence College with a B.A. in dance, I moved to New York City where I worked as a professional modern dancer/choreographer, actress, pre- and postnatal exercise instructor, and personal fitness trainer. More than twenty years later, I returned to California with my husband and two children and settled in Davis. I went back to school at California State University at Sacramento and obtained a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy.
I am delighted to be a Physical Therapist at Kaiser, South Sacramento, where I specialize in patients who have or at risk for Lymphedema. Other areas of interest are women’s health, and dancers with acute or chronic injuries.
I am certified by the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, and am a member of the National Lymphedema Network. In New York, I received my certification in pre- and postnatal exercise training from Elizabeth Bing, who was instrumental in bringing Lamaze childbirth technique to the United States from Europe.
During my time off I enjoy time with family, running, hiking, and snorkeling.
I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
