Greetings! Welcome to my Home Page!

I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente Central Valley. I hope that we can always provide best possible quality of care and service to you.

About Me

I was born and raised near Tirupati in the Andhra Pradesh State of southern India. I received my medical degree from Sri Venkateswara Medical College of Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati, India. I completed my internship program from John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. I then joined a residency program in Anesthesiology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, Texas and completed my residency from University of Arkansas College of Medicine, Little Rock, Arkansas.

The power of healing and helping the sick fascinated me when I was a child; that motivated me to prepare for the competitive field of medicine in India. A couple of my elder sisters have also chosen medicine as their profession and they were good role models for me.

Prior to joining The Permanente Medical Group in 2006, I worked as the staff anesthesiologist with an anesthesia medical group in private practice in Bakersfield, California. Kaiser Permanente offers the physicians the opportunity to completely focus on quality of patient care and service, and takes away the other nuances of private practice. I was also attracted to Kaiser Permanente because of the organizations’ commitment in reaching out to the communities.

I am married with two beautiful daughters. My personal interests include exercising, reading, enjoying outdoor activities with my family and friends and traveling.

My Philosophy of Care

The anesthesia service I render to my patients is based on a simple philosophy – to provide excellent care just as treating my own family members. Patient safety is of utmost priority while anesthesia service is the most appropriate for surgical procedures. I enjoy interacting with my patients in educating and reassuring about the procedure that he/she would be undergoing.

Our entire Anesthesiology Department and I want to be certain that all of your concerns are addressed. If you forget to ask a question during your pre-operative office visit, please call (209) 476-3633.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my home page, and I look forward to working with and for you!
