About Me

I went to UC Davis and obtained an undergraduate degree in biological sciences. After that, I went to Mount Saint Mary's to get my graduate degree in physical therapy. I've lived in California all my life, have spent pretty much all my years in the Bay Area and really love it here. For fun, I'm an avid road cyclist. I also enjoy cooking, hockey, going to the gym and traveling locally and abroad. Cycling to me is the greatest thing, as it's both a physical workout as well as mental relaxation...nothing like flying down the road under your own power.

As a physical therapist, I definitely believe in keeping yourself in good shape. I would encourage everyone to do some form of exercise daily, whether it be walking, going to the gym, or some sport. Not only will you keep your body healthy, but you'll have more energy. Exercise is the best preventative medicine out there.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
