About Me

Hello and welcome to my home page. I am a Physician Assistant working in Vascular Surgery. As a physician assistant, I work independently as a provider under the supervision of a physician. I chose to be a physician assistant because I enjoy working as part of the healthcare team to provide excellent care to our patients. In vascular surgery, I see all types of patients both before and after surgery. I also help manage patients who are staying in the hospital.

I enjoy patient education, as I think it empowers the patient to understand their conditions, and the rationale behind the treatments we recommend. I teach the varicose vein class that educates patients on non-surgical and surgical treatments. I follow these patients from the first class through their procedures and follow-up.

I joined Kaiser for several reasons. First, I was born at Kaiser and have been a Kaiser member my whole life. I appreciate how easy it is to access services and the online capabilities of KP.org. During my training, I had the opportunity to complete my surgical training at Kaiser Oakland and valued how all the different services work together to optimize patient care.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, I love this area for the weather, beaches and all of the outdoor activities it offers. I enjoy snowboarding, hiking, camping, competing in triathalons, and cooking.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
