Welcome to my home page!

I grew up in Southern California and obtained my bachelor’s degree in biology from Cal Poly Pomona. I received my optometry degree from U.C. Berkeley and have been practicing since 1999. I also participate as a clinical examiner for the National Board of Optometry and have been doing so since 2004.

I have been working for Kaiser Permanente since 2001 at the Petaluma, Novato and San Rafael Downtown facilities. I mainly work out of the Petaluma medical offices where you can best reach me. Kaiser Permanente allows me to practice the full scope optometry with a great team of colleagues whom I have come to respect and admire tremendously.

During my leisure time I enjoy watching movies, taking walks and going out to eat with my wife, Monique. Our family is growing and becoming new parents is certainly exciting!

Thanks for visiting me on the web and I look forward to our next appointment.

An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
