Welcome to My Home Page!

I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been practicing in the field since 1972.My practice prior to Kaiser Permanente focused on clinical work with children and adults in a variety of settings. I have been on staff in this mental health department since october 1980. I work primarilly as a therapist on the adult team though I did work with children and families in my early years here.

I enjoy working with groups and in the past co-led a relationship group for adults and also co-facillitated some treatment groups in the chemical dependency program. I currently co-facilitate a codependancy group and a depression intake group. I am interested in the training of professionals and have supervised second year social work students over the last 12 years. I greatly appreciate being a part of a multi-disciplinary team. My graduate training was psychodynamically focused and I include a strengths based perspective in my work.

My Education and Credentials

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
