My colleagues and I designed our home pages to make it easier for you to take care of your health care needs. We've included a variety of superior online programs and health information that we have evaluated or written ourselves. Providing you with only the highest quality materials demonstrates our commitment to giving you the best quality care.

My Background

I studied medicine at the University of Hawaii and graduated in 2005. I then pursued a career in obstetrics and gynecology and did one year of residency training at the University of Hawaii. I quickly realized that this was not the field that would give me fulfillment and longevity.

I found that emergency medicine was where I needed to be. Without hesitation I moved from Hawaii to New York where I completed three years of my emergency medicine training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. After my training in New York I moved to Sacramento to work as an emergency medicine physician with Kaiser Permanente in 2009 and I have not looked back!

My Staff

The staff in the Emergency Department work as a team with one goal in mind, which is giving the patient the best care possible. I come to work knowing that I have a team who is hard working, cohesive and accountable.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
