Welcome to my home page. I'm Dr. Trevor Cadogan with the Emergency Department at Kaiser, South Sacramento.

I was born and raised in Canada, completing my education in the Canadian system through college, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I then moved down to sunny Southern California (not just for the weather) for medical school at Loma Linda University. After finishing medical school, and a one-year Post-Sophomore Fellowship in Pathology, I moved to Sacramento and underwent my residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of California, Davis.

I then joined Kaiser Permanente directly out of residency due to their strong focus on providing excellence in patient care and integrating technology to help keep our patients healthy.

Hopefully, you will not need our services in the Emergency Department; but rest assured that if you do, we are here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help get you back on the road to a healthier you. If you have been sick recently and required the services of myself or my colleagues, it has been a pleasure to assist in your well-being.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the many outdoor activities that our area has to offer, including running, mountain biking, snowboarding and backcounty sports.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
