Welcome to my Home Page!

I began working in the health sciences in the field of Veterinary Medicine as a young girl. Later, through my studies at U.C. Davis and working for the Dept. of Human Physiology on the main campus, I learned about the exciting field of nursing.  I spent seven years as a Pediatric Intensive Care nurse and a Pediatric Critical Care Transport Nurse, then continued my education to become a CRNA.   During my graduate education, I worked at many facilites in Northern California, and I really learned to appreciate the collaborative and preventative nature of Kaiser's approach to patient care.  The Anesthesia team in the Diablo service area, in particular, is a strong and cohesive group that works well together to ensure the patients' surgical experience is one that is as comfortable and stress free as possible.  I am proud to be a part of that team.   When I'm not at work, I enjoy hiking and backpacking with family and friends, horseback riding, and training and showing my dogs in conformation and performance events.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
