Welcome to My Internet Home Page
I am Dr. Tint Lwin and I am a hospitalist in the Manteca Medical Center. I was born and raised in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. Being a physician is a noble profession which allows me to help many people and to relieve their pain. I received my medical degree at Institute of Medicine II, Yangon, Myanmar and completed my internship in Internal Medicine there. I then had the opportunity to work at World Vision Foundation of Thailand in Thailand for five years before I moved to the United States. Thereafter, I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. Kaiser Permanente is one of the largest and well-organized medical groups in the United States and I am proud to be part of this organization.
I enjoy being in the Central Valley because not only this area is an ideal place to live, the weather is also similar to my home country, Myanmar. Outside of work, I like traveling, meditation and reading. Besides English, I am also fluent in Burmese.
My Philosophy of Care
I believe that the more knowledge I have; the better treatment I will provide to my patients and the better quality of care patients will receive.
Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
