My Biography

I relocated to the Bay Area from Denver, Colorado, in June 2005. I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco because I had heard great things about working for the organization from audiologists at Kaiser Permanente in Colorado.

What I enjoy most about delivering health care is knowing that I have made a difference in someone’s life. I am thrilled to be working here, within a terrific, cosmopolitan city, and with a diverse population of patients. I like to work with individuals of all ages, but I am most interested in working with pediatrics patients. I maintain special interests in the diagnostic aspects of audiology. Professional conferences I attend include the American Academy of Audiology and the Northern California Kaiser Audiology Conference.

I think the best aspect of our Hearing Center is our comprehensive audiological care for a broad range of individuals, without the need to go outside of San Francisco Medical Center.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, hiking, and traveling with my husband and dog. In the winter, I enjoy skiing and snow shoeing. I help myself THRIVE by making it a goal to exercise regularly.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
