Welcome to my homepage

My name is Thomas Vital and I am a Nurse Anesthetist at Kaiser Permanente in San Jose. I entered the nursing field because of my desire to help others and aid them to health. My philosophy towards the anesthesia care is to provide care that I would like my family to receive. I like to provide an intimate hands-on approach to patients who are otherwise afraid or have reservations with their upcoming anesthesia experience.

My Background

Education: BSN, California State University, Fresno MSN Anesthesia, Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, CA

My Interest

Gymnastics, martial arts, water activities and being with my family watching movies or sight seeing

My Recommendations

I believe in living a healthy lifestyle which includes a regular exercise regimen, a healthy diet which includes lots of fruits and vegetable and avoiding alcohol and smoke/cigarette intake. I recommend decreasing overall stress and participating more in family activities enhancing family bonds.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
