Welcome to My Home Page !
I earned my medical degree from University of Yangon, Institute of Medicine, Yangon, Myanmar. I completed my internship and residency training at Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. I worked for a private medical group in Minnesota before I joined Kaiser Permanente in August 2004.
I joined Kaiser Permanente because I found it to be an excellent health care system in the United States and I am proud to be a Kaiser Permanente medical provider. I am one of the Hospital Medicine Department's physicians. Our hospital-based specialists (HBS) are available all the time for acutely ill hospitalized adult patients. Working collaterally with your primary provider, our HBS physicians strive to provide you with the best possible care.
Practice Philosophy
I believe that the true mission of the physician is "To cure occasionally, to relieve often, and to comfort always."
When not practicing medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and traveling. In addition to English, I also speak Burmese.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
