Welcome to My Internet Home Page
Welcome to my home page. I hope that through this medium I will be able to better serve you with the most current information.
About Me
I was born and raised in India. I obtained my medical degree at Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. I then came to the United States and completed my internal medicine residency and my pulmonary medicine and critical care fellowship training at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, IL. Thereafter, I completed my sleep medicine fellowship at University of Chicago, Chicago, IL. My medical interests include reactive airway disease and sleep disorders related to breathing. I have always wanted to become a physician. This is a noble profession allowing me to help people. I chose Kaiser Permanente because of its focus on innovative technologies in health care. It is also a well respected and well established organization. Central Valley offers a variety of recreational activities and it is an ideal place to raise a family.
When I am not working, I like traveling, reading and going to basketball games with my son. I also like to spend quality time with my family. I am married and we have two wonderful children, a son and a daughter. Besides English, I speak Hindi and Telugu (Asian-Indian languages).
My Philosophy of Care
My philosophy is that emotional well being of patients is as important as physical well being. I would like to treat my patients with the same care and empathy that I would like for myself.
Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
