Welcome to My Home Page

As your doctor, I understand how valuable your time is and I want to let you know how much I appreciate the time you take to be as healthy as you can be. To thank you for all your hard work, my colleagues and I have developed web pages to make it easier for you and your family to get answers to your questions and take care of many of your health care needs.

About Me

I have been a resident of Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and most recently a Texan living in Houston. I moved to Northern California to be close to family, the great outdoors, the excellent weather and to work for Kaiser Permanente North Valley, a true leader in the pursuit of neuroscience.

My Roles & Responsibilities

I am a neuro-intensivist with the Department of Neurosurgery. Our team takes care of complicated neurological emergencies and post-operative neurosurgery. Kaiser Sacramento houses a 34 bed Neuro ICU and provides exceptional care.

Professional Affiliations

  • American Academy of Family Physicians
  • American Academy of Neurology
  • Neurocritical Care Society

My Staff

The Staff in the Neuro-ICU is comprised of nurses, neuro-intensivists, neurosurgeons, neuro-interventional radiologists, neurology nurse practitioners and neuro-hospitalists. Each member of our highly sub-specialized staff provides compassionate and high quality care.

Be sure to visit the Kaiser Permanente Website for additional information regarding appointments, prescriptions, health education classes and other health-related topics. You can also click on my department link above to receive additional health information.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
