Welcome to Speech Therapy at Kaiser Santa Clara! I’d like to introduce myself to you, so we can work as partners in your health care.

I was born in San Francisco and grew up in the Bay Area. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of California at Davis in 1992. I then went on to receive a Masters of Science in Communicative Disorders from San Francisco State University in 1995.

I joined the Rehabilitative Services staff at Kaiser Permanente in January 2007. I have many years experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, specializing in dysphagia, tracheostomies, and aphasia in the adult and geriatric populations. I also have several years of experience with managing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists in the skilled nursing setting. I have been a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association since 1995.

On a personal note, I have two children. When I am not helping with homework or attending my children’s activities, I enjoy exercising and spending time with my family and friends. I, myself, have been a Kaiser member for thirty plus years!

I feel it is important that all of your questions and concerns are addressed. Please feel free to call me at (408) 851-8376 if you have any questions about your speech therapy. I look forward to working with you!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
