Welcome to My Home Page!

I am a doctor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, otherwise known as a Physiatrist. The field of PM&R was created to help patients with chronic conditions improve their function. I help with the rehabilitation of patients who have had strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, or other neurological conditions. I also help facilitate the healing process of patients afflicted with musculoskeletal problems such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and knee pain.

I enjoy being a physiatrist because it enables me to enhance my patient’s quality of life. My practice philosophy is to assist and encourage my patients to help reach their functional goals and to maximize their ability to thrive in their community. I derive great satisfaction from my daily interactions with my patients.

I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente because it allows me to give the best medical care to my patients. It is a pleasure to come to work everyday and be surrounded by a wonderful team of health professionals and staff members.

Internship Good Samaritan Hospital and Medical Center, West Islip, NY

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
