Welcome To My Homepage

My Credentials
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of California at Davis, and graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1996.

Health Care Practice
I feel optometrists are primary care providers. With a thorough eye examination, we can help identify medical conditions such as high cholesterol, hypertension and diabetes. Not only do I enjoy helping my patients see better with a new pair of glasses, I also enjoy helping them maintain their general health.

Why I think Kaiser Permanente is great place to practice?
We have a great group of optometrists and ophthalmologists at Elk Grove and Wyndham. We are able to provide quality care and easy access to any type of specialty referral that is needed for our patients. We have the ability to communicate directly with our patients’ primary care and specialty doctors, allowing us to provide the best possible care for all of our members.

On a Personal Note
I was born and raised in Sacramento, and am so amazed at all of the changes to Sacramento that have occurred through the years. When I am not working, I love traveling. I enjoy discovering new cultures and seeing how other people around the world live. Along with traveling, I also like hiking.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
