Hello and welcome to my home page!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my practice, and to provide you with additional information regarding your medical care at Kaiser, South Sacramento.

My specialty is Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I practice in both the Occupational Health Department and the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I treat patients with orthopedic and neurological problems, joint and muscle pain, and spinal disorders.

I perform joint and soft tissue injections and work closely with the physical therapists in our Department to provide the best rehabilitation for my patients. I also perform electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) to help diagnose nerve disorders like carpal tunnel syndrome.

I joined Kaiser in 1990 after completing my specialty training at the University of California at Davis. I really enjoy working for Kaiser and believe we offer the most comprehensive and integrated approach to medicine.

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing some tennis, and traveling back to Britain to visit my original home.

Please take a couple of moments to explore the links in this page. Included is information about Healthy Living, Worker's Compensation, and Returning to Work. These sites are periodically updated and are designed to be as informative and helpful as possible. Also listed on my home page is information about my clinic hours and how you can contact me.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
