Hi and welcome to Physical Therapy at Kaiser Santa Clara . I’m looking forward to working with you and would like to introduce myself.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I attended De Anza College and received my Associate or Arts degree in Data Processing in 1979. After becoming a victim of the dot-com bust in 2000, I returned to school in 2002 and completed the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at De Anza College in 2005.

After receiving state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, I worked for a skilled nursing facility for 2 years. I joined the physical therapy staff at Kaiser Santa in 2007 and began working with outpatients. I really enjoy working with people and getting to know you. My greatest satisfaction comes from knowing that I am helping improve your quality of life.

When I’m not working in physical therapy I am enjoying time with my life partner and our son. We spend our time traveling, baking, gardening, and hanging out at parks, especially those with trains. We also spend a lot of time taking care of our pets: a cat, a Russian tortoise, a hermit crab and a couple of fish.

Your questions and concerns are important to me. I encourage you to contact me at (408) 851-1452 if you have any questions or concerns about your physical therapy.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
