Welcome to Speech Therapy at Kaiser Santa Clara! I’d like give you a little background about me, so that we can work as partners in your healthcare.

I joined the Rehabilitation Services Department at Kaiser Santa Clara in August, 2006. I am excited to be practicing at Kaiser, with the wide variety of Speech Therapy services I am able to offer to our members, incorporating state of the art equipment and practices.

I brought with me 12 years of experience in speech therapy for Adult Neurological Disorders, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, minor head injury, disorders of voice, and dysphagia. In addition, I have had several years of experience in managing clinical and administrative matters in a hospital based Speech Therapy Department.

I received my Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Jose State University in 1995, and I am licensed by the State of California in Speech-Language Pathology. I also completed a clinical fellowship year with the Palo Alto Institute of Research, working with patients with a wide variety of neurological diagnoses, with an emphasis on the evaluation and treatment of traumatic brain injuries.

On a personal note, I have lived in the Bay Area for 20 years, and I continue to explore and enjoy the many varied activities and forms of entertainment here, with the best weather in the world! My favorite activities include cross country skiing, kayaking, hiking, and reading.

I’m looking forward to working with you, and I feel that communication is important to your care, so I’d like to encourage you to call me at (408) 851-1476 if you have any questions about your Speech Therapy.
