Career Highlights
I graduated from Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois with a BA in Liberal Arts, majoring in Sociology and Education.,1970
Master's Degree in Special Education, specialty in Learning Disabilities and Emotionally Disturbed children from Illinois State University, 1974
Second Master's Degree in Clinical Psycholgy from Illinois State University from Illinois State University, 1978
Internship for two years at The Family Therapy Center in San Francisco
MFCC(Marriage, Family, Child Counselor) License in June 1980, License # MFC15256
Private Practice in Marin County for twenty years, working with individuals, couples, and family issues.
I moved to Sacramento in 1999 and worked as a social worker for a foster family agency .
I also worked at Sierra Vista Hospital in the Adolescent Unit as a social worker helping teens and their families for two years.
I started working for Kaiser Permanente October, 2003 as a triager. I now work half time in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department in South Sacramento and the rest of the time is spent doing psychiatic consultation in the Emergency Department.
