Welcome to My Home Page!

About me

I was influenced to choose a medical profession because I had parents in the medical field. I also enjoyed my volunteer physical therapy experience in high school. My job is rewarding. I'm working with my hands to help people improve their quality of life, and teaching them how to improve their own bodies' environment. The goal of my work it to empower patients to help themselves stay better. Plus, I enjoy my patients at the Martinez facility. They really appreciate the help that is offered to them.

My clinical interests are manual orthopedic physical therapy and aquatic physical therapy.

When I'm not working I like being at home with my two girls. I also volunteer for Arthritis Foundation special events.

My Education and Credentials:

Post Graduate Training MS in Health Education, San Francisco State University
Physical Therapy Education BS from Northwestern University, Chicago, IL
Licensure Physical Therapy Board of California
Residency Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Kaiser Hayward
Undergraduate Degree BA in Psychology, Saint Mary's College, Norte Dame, IN
Membership Fellow - American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
