To My Patients:

Welcome to my Internet Home Page. Thank you for your interest and taking the time to learn more about me and the Radiology Department at Kaiser Permanente Stockton. There are a number of links to clinical information, as well as a link to the web sites of other members of our department. You can even use this site to refill prescriptions, or request an appointment with your personal physician.

About Me

Born on the outskirts of the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee, my early childhood was spent outdoors.... hiking, camping, river rafting. On rare occasions, I'd get to go to Knoxville and watch the University of Tennessee "Volunteers" play football or basketball. As a little boy I could have never imagined attending the University of Tennessee Medical School..... life can be bigger than our dreams if we just dare to dream.

Moving with my family from the south to Northern California, I attended middle and high school in the bay area. My first introduction to the Central Valley was when I attended the University of the Pacific. Having the delta and mountains so close gave us ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Attending the University of Tennessee Medical School, I had the opportunity to complete portions of my residency training at St. Judes Children Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. What a privilege to be touched by so many wonderful lives with children that exemplified courage and inner strength. Being the father of four, I am grateful for the miracle of life that can be lived each and every day.

Having returned to California, my family and I are enjoying the outdoor experiences so close to us here in the Central Valley. Working at Kaiser Permanente Stockton is a genuine pleasure.

My Philosophy of Care

I chose Diagnostic Radiology as a medical specialty because I have the honor of working directly with both patients and as a consultant to their physician provider. Radiology embraces new technologies to diagnose as well as follow ongoing medical treatment. It is a privilege to work with such a dedicated group of technologists, nurses, and support staff in the department of Radiology, and throughout Kaiser Permanente Stockton, Modesto, Manteca and very soon in Tracy.

Our entire Radiology Department and I want to be certain that all of your concerns are addressed. If you need to schedule an appointment in the Department of Radiology or you have questions about your care in our department, please call (209) 476-2111. For results of your screenings, please contact your primary care provider. Thank you.

Select a personal physician - An important part of your health care experience at Kaiser Permanente includes building a relationship with your personal physician. If you haven't already selected one or want to change, click here to choose a personal physician for yourself or for a family member.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
