Welcome to My Home Page!

I began practicing clinical work in 1986, where I worked as a clinical social worker at an alcoholism clinic in Queens Hospital, New York. I have worked on The Child and Family Team at Kaiser Permanente since 2000.

My patients can expect that I will have conversations with them based on what they want to achieve from therapy. My patients can also expect that I will attend to their strengths, and I will encourage the building of a support network to help them achieve their goals. I have several years of experience in working with children, teens, and families in an intensive team-based in-home treatment model. I also have extensive experience in working with drug, alcohol and codependency issues. I have also worked as a clinical supervisor in a faith-based setting and have spoken at christian women’s retreats.

My Education and Credentials

Undergraduate Education BA, Psychology, North Adams State College, Massachusetts
Graduate Education MSW, Adelphi University, New York
Internships Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New York; Schneider’s Children’s Hospital, New York; Queens Hospital, Alcohol Detox Unit, New York
Licensure Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
