My Biography
Hello, and welcome to my web page! My name is Dr. Stephanie Lowe and I work in the Pediatric outpatient clinic at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco with a talented, caring team of doctors, nurses, medical assistants, and professional staff. We want to help make you and your child's visit to the clinic a positive experience.
First, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a Bay Area Native, growing up in San Jose. After graduating from UC Berkeley (GO BEARS!), I completed a medical degree at the University of Southern California (USC) and a residency at Kaiser Foundation Hospital - Oakland. In 1997, I joined Kaiser Permanente as a staff Pediatrician at the San Francisco Medical Center. I have been very happy with my decision. I am fluent in Cantonese and have found it extremely rewarding to care for and bond with my Cantonese speaking families. I am also in charge of the Pediatric Immunization Outreach Program in San Francisco, working to ensure our patients under 2 years of age are up-to-date with their shots.
When I am not seeing patients or supervising and teaching residents, I like to play piano, ice skate, ski, travel, and most of all spend time with my husband, Tom Vo, daughter Michaela, and son Connor.
I joined Kaiser Permanente because I believe in preventive medicine. I want to work together with my patients and their parents to promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle. If your child is sick, I want to help you understand your child's treatment or treatment options.
