My Specialty and Why I Chose It

I am trained in Emergency Medicine and Occupational Medicine. I enjoy learning about different occupations from my patients and handling acute injuries. Every patient has something new to teach me about the joys and challenges of their workplace.

My Practice Philosophy

I am very straightforward in my practice style because I believe that patients will generally do what's best for them if they are given the information they need. My goals are always to return patients to their best health and fitness. Talking to my patients is the best part of my practice.

My Tenure with Kaiser Permanente

I've been a part of Kaiser Permanente since 2001. Since that time, I've really come to appreciate the access we have to excellent specialists. The support of the integrated system is extremely valuable in my practice. In addition, the integrated electronic medical record system makes communication so much better than with the old fashion paper charts. I'm sure that it allows us to provide better care to our patients.

Why I Chose to Practice Medicine at Kaiser Permanente

Kaiser Permanente allows me the freedom to practice medicine within a stable group of dedicated professionals.

On a Personal Note

My family has grown up in the Sacramento area. I love the changing seasons and the diversity of the population. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children in the many parks that this area has to offer.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
