About Me

I have been privileged to work at Kaiser Permanente since 1990. I was born in Pennsylvania, and moved with my husband to California in 1980. My post graduate medical training was completed in the San Francisco Bay Area. I hold a membership in the College of American Pathologists.

I enjoy working at Kaiser Permanente because there is a cooperative collegial environment. By meeting regularly and exchanging information with my professional colleagues, I can learn and advance my knowledge.

Outside of work I enjoy piano, gardening, traveling, and frequent hikes in the nearby regional parks with our dog Randy, a German Shorthair Pointer.

My Credentials

Medical school University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh, PA
Internship Highland General Hospital, Oakland, CA
Residency Veterans Administration Medical Center, Martinez, CA
Fellowship Veterans Administration Medical Center, Martinez, CA
Board certification Pathology - Anatomic and Clinical, American Board of Pathology

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
