My Biography
At a very young age, I aspired to become a pediatrician. I loved the idea of being able to watch babies and children grow, while helping them to remain healthy. During my medical training at the University of Southern California, my passion for this field grew even stronger, and I decided that it definitely was the perfect direction for me. I chose to work at Kaiser because it gave me a chance to be close to my own family and to practice care in a large group setting that puts patients first. One of the most rewarding aspect of my career has been that I can educate parents, and give them the confidence they need to take care of their children outside of the hospital. I can just recall being so scared when I went to Pediatrics as a child, and now as a Pediatrician, I try to remember that and make every visit as comfortable and as worthwhile as possible for both the parent and child. Currently, I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the San Mateo Medical Society. Outside of my career I love reading fiction novels, and I am an avid traveler. I have been to London, Greece, France, Switzerland, and Italy.
I would just like to remind all parents to bring your child’s immunization records if you have them on hand.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
