Welcome To My Home Page!

I have been in practice in Marin County since 1985, but I only came to Kaiser in 2002. I am very happy to be working here at Kaiser as I think Kaiser helps me do a great job. I am surrounded by lots of bright colleagues who are happy to share their experience and expertise with me. It's a collegial environment, not a competitive one.

I currently work in the hospital setting and am an internist with a sub-specialty in critical care. I am a member of American Medical Association (AMA), California Medical Association (CMA) and American College of Physicians (ACP). I like the variety this gives me. When I'm not working I love to travel, so share your interesting tips with me.

My practice philosophy is to have collaborative style. I want to be your partner and help you make informed decisions about your health care.

My family moved to Marin County just before I started high school, so I have been here a long time. I went to Redwood High School. My wife is also a Kaiser Permanente MD and works in the Petaluma office. We have a daughter in medical school, and a son in college who is studying economics.

Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
