I am pleased to offer this web site as a means to provide you with information about chemical dependency services at Kaiser Permanente, San Rafael, as well as provide information about community services. I hope that through this medium I will be able to better serve you with the most current information, useful handouts, and helpful web links.

The chemical dependency department provides services to patients who are concerned about their own substance use, family members who are concerned about a loved one's substance use, and families with teenagers who are using substances. Please note that new patients are welcome to drop-in for an initial appointment with a chemical dependency therapist anytime between 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday. New patients will meet with a therapist to discuss their situation and be provided with information about the many treatment resources within our department, within Kaiser, and in the community.

I am proud to be a member of such a quality department and medical group here at Kaiser Permanente, and I hope that we can always provide high quality of care and service to you.
