About Me

I grew up in Massachusetts and have lived in California since 1997. I have family in Massachusetts, Colorado and Texas. After enjoying the Los Angeles lifestyle for six years, my wife and I decided to give the Bay Area a try. We have been very happy with our decision to move north! We have one young daughter and no pets (yet!).

My Practice:

Radiology is an intersection of almost every field in medicine. With new technology and equipment our ability to image the human body is growing at a tremendous pace. The interaction with other physicians and patients is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the practice. It is always exciting and rewarding to help make a diagnosis. Most of my time is spent reading CT, MRI, ultrasound and x-ray studies. I also perform fluoroscopic studies and CT guided biopsies.

Why Kaiser Permanente:

I have practiced at Kaiser Permanente since 2003. I joined Kaiser Permanente because I wanted a practice where I would be able to interact with physicians and patients as a team with the ultimate goal of promoting health. I think the word "team" really does describe well the atmosphere at this organization. I think it is the best place to go for medical care.

Other Interests:

When I am not working I enjoy running, hiking, and exploring the Bay Area with my wife and daughter. Some of our favorite places so far are the steam engine at Tilden Park and the Discovery Museum in Sausalito

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
