Welcome to My Internet Home Page

Thank you for coming to Kaiser Permanente for your health care needs. I hope I can provide you with the best possible care for your Physical Therapy needs.

About Me

I graduated from California State University at Long Beach, CA in 1975 with a degree in Physical Therapy. Since that time I have learned many new tools to treat patients through continuing education.

I was born in Hollywood, CA, and was raised in the beach communities from Playa del Rey to Long Beach. I enjoyed surfing between junior high school and college years and I still participate in most water and snow sports. I also enjoy the technical analysis side of the stock market and foreign exchange rates. In college, I enjoyed my anatomy and physiology classes the most and naturally I decided to pursue my career in the medical field. I wanted to become a physical therapist because it allows me to utilize the knowledge and skills I have learned and be able to help others.

Philosophy of Care

My philosophy of care is both life style and hands on oriented. Many conditions can be treated by improving posture, body mechanics, exercise and diet and many conditions can be treated by hands on manual therapy approach. This can be done by our physical therapists in the facility and in some cases we offer home program in which patients may continue their treatment at home.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
