About Me
I grew up in Danville, California, and have had the privilege of practicing at Kaiser Permanente since 2000. I am married and live with my husband in Danville. My personal interests include snow skiing, snowboarding, waterskiing, wakeboarding, hiking, golfing, and playing soccer. I also enjoy traveling with my husband as well as spending quiet weekends at home with my family.
In 1996 while attending nursing school I began my career in medicine working at Marin General Hospital in the Emergency Department as an Orthopedic and Emergency Room Technician. After receiving my bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from Saint Mary's College I went on to practice as an Emergency Room Nurse. In 2001 I graduated from Samuel Merritt College with a master's of science in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). My career has always centered on emergency and orthopedics as a Nurse Practitioner.
My research and clinical interests include family medicine, emergency medicine, pediatrics, and orthopedics. I value an interactive relationship with my patients and focus on a balance between nutrition, exercise, and physical and mental well being. My goal as a provider in orthopedics is for my patients to be able to function at their best possible physical health. I look forward to meeting you in person and helping you achieve your personal life goals.
My educational background and board certification are as follows:
| Undergraduate Education: | BS in Nursing, Samuel Merritt/St. Mary's College, Oakland |
| Nurse Practitioner Education: | FNP, Samuel Merritt College, Oakland |
| Post Graduate Training: | MSN, Samuel Merritt College, Oakland |

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
