Hello and Welcome to My Home Page!

I moved to Southern California from Iran at age 15 to seek a higher education. After graduating from medical school, I spent the next four years completing my combined medical training in family medicine and occupational and environmental medicine (OEM) at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. I also received my master of science degree during my training at Wayne State University. Having completed my medical training, I decided to join the United States Air Force in the summer of 2003 as a flight surgeon and was stationed at Vandenberg AFB in central California. I really enjoyed the military lifestyle and gained a wealth of knowledge while on active duty.

Personal Philosophy

In July 2005, I joined Kaiser Permanente and moved to the Fresno area with my family. I truly believe in prevention and spending enough time with each member; my goal is to educate all my patients about their medical condition. Prevention is the key in all aspects of medicine and it’s especially true in Occupational Health. Kaiser Permanente has been the leading institution and is at the forefront of this issue. Integrity, honesty, hard work, and treating others the way you want to be treated are my core values. I will do my best to provide you with the highest level of care available and treat you as if you were my own family member.

I am married to a lovely wife and have two beautiful daughters who keep me very busy during my spare time. We believe in physical fitness and good eating habits. We enjoy reading, exercising, and traveling.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
