Welcome to My Home Page

We've included a variety of superior online programs and health information that we have evaluated or written ourselves. Providing you with only the highest quality materials demonstrates our commitment to giving you the best quality care.

My Background

I was very fortunate to grow up in South Lake Tahoe and I had an active childhood, spending much time outdoors. I went to college at U.C.L.A. and earned a degree in chemical engineering before moving to Texas for my medical training. I went to medical school and completed my residency training in dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. I met my wonderful wife in medical school and we have one son. I was very excited to move back to northern California with my family and we love living here! I joined Kaiser in 2011 and I greatly enjoy working on a team with excellent, hardworking colleagues that are all extremely focused on providing outstanding patient care.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
