Welcome to my home page. I hope to share more about myself and my passion for being a hospitalist

I was born in Southern India and migrated to US after completing my medical school. I did my internship in Lafayette, Louisiana where I had the opportunity to see and learn from a diverse group of patients. I was among the volunteer groups that served the hurricane Katrina and Rita victims of Southern Louisiana. I completed my residency in San Joaquin General Hospital, French Camp, CA and chose Bay Area to practice medicine.

I trained in a County hospital and have developed a special interest in acute care. I am firm believer of providing the best health care and also get involved in making sure the patient and their families are well informed and comfortable with the treatment.

When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Other than English I speak Telugu and Hindi fluently.

My Credentials

Medical school Gulbarga University Medical College, Karnataka, India
Internship University Medical Center (lafayette), Lafayette, LA
Internship Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad, India
Residency San Joaquin General Hospital, French Camp, CA
Board certification Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
