My Biography

Medical School: State University of New York School of Medicine, Syracuse, NY
Residency/Fellowship: Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC
Joined Kaiser Permanente: 2002

I obtained my undergraduate degree at Wellesley College and from there went on to obtain my medical degree at SUNY Syracuse. It was there that I decided to pursue a career in psychiatry specifically focusing on children and adolescents. My training in adult and child and adolescent psychiatry was done at Duke Medical Center. I moved to the bay area in July 2002 and joined Kaiser shortly after. One of my main role's in the department of child and adolescent psychiatry is to provide medication evaluations and ongoing management of individual's who remain on medication. The decision to use medication to treat the various psychiatric symptoms that may be impairing your child's functioning is one that will be made jointly. It is important that families are educated to the risks and benefits of medication so that each family can make an informed decision.

The best way to reach me is by calling 650-742-2130 which is our general number. I will do my best to return your call as soon as possible. If you need a medication refill please call 2-3 days in advance as it is not always possible to fill requests the same day that they are received.
