Welcome to my Home Page...
If it weren't for kids, I wouldn't have gone into medicine. Kids are the best. I know, because I have one! Parenting is very difficult, but rewarding. And I love helping parents through their children's illnesses.
I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA, and came to the Bay Area in 2000 when my husband transferred to a law firm out here. Sometimes I miss the seasons, affordable housing, and public transportation back East. But I like the weather here - no snow storms, and being able to spend more time outdoors.
I am proud to be a physician of Kaiser Permanente. I have been with Kaiser since I completed my residency training, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have autonomy when it comes to ordering tests for my patients, and with conferring with specialists.
My patients are free to call or email me with questions.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
