About Me

A desire to help others, combined with an interest in diseases and injuries, led me to become a physician. I have chosen occupational medicine as a specialty because work, and what we do, often define who we are. Most of us spend a great deal of time at our work and it is a major factor in our lives. Helping people regain this part of their life is very satisfying. Practicing this specialty in Kaiser Permanente is enjoyable because we have a well-organized system of Occupational Medicine Clinics. I feel that people recover from injury or illness faster if they are participants in the process, stay as active as possible, and avoid unhealthy lifestyles and habits.

Outside work I enjoy time with my family and staying physically active - as I encourage my patients to do.
