Welcome to My Home Page!

I received my doctorate in clinical psychology in 2004 and have been working for Kaiser Permanente ever since. In my current position, I do psychotherapy with individual adults and I also work on our crisis/hospital consultation and central intake teams.

Generally, people come into therapy when they are in great pain or at some type of crossroads in their lives. This time can present a tremendous opportunity for growth. I believe my role as a therapist is to help clients live happier and more authentic lives. I attempt to do this through a balance of reflection and insight along with more active, solution-focused approaches. I aim to provide a respectful and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I also strive to tailor each person’s treatment to their individual goals, needs, values, and culture. In turn, I find that clients experience a reduction of troubling symptoms and greater personal fulfillment.

I love working for Kaiser Permanente because of the many resources we have available to our clients. I also feel privileged to work with a group of such dedicated and high quality staff. Lastly, I feel honored and grateful to travel along the journey of life with a wonderful population of clients.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
