My Biography

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I went to college at the University of California, San Diego, then attended medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. I completed my residency training in internal medicine at New York University. I returned to San Francisco in 2009 to work at Kaiser Permanente in the department of hospital medicine.

I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente because its comprehensive care model makes it a dominant force in modern medicine. I value the type of patient interaction that occurs within the hospital environment, and enjoy the collaborative atmosphere that enables me to work alongside other physicians.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading novels, wine-tasting, and spending time with family. I THRIVE through hiking, swimming, and snow skiing!
