Welcome to my homepage

I have practiced physical therapy at Kaiser Permanente, San Jose since the completion of my training in 2008. I decided to become a physical therapist because I enjoy helping people get back to their normal everyday activities. I am proud to be a part of an excellent group of physical therapists. We always try to keep up with current evidence-based practice and aim for customer service that goes above and beyond patient expectations.

About Me

I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University (formerly known as Samuel Merritt College), Oakland, CA in 2008. During my last year of PT school, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to do my final internship at Kaiser Permanente San Jose. I had a great experience and loved the staff as they made me feel right at home. Shortly after the internship, I joined The Permanente Medical Group as an inpatient physical therapist. I enjoy working in the hospital because it allows me to learn about different medical diagnoses and procedures and work with a wide variety of patients. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling to new places, working out at the gym, trying new restaurants and eating all types of food.

My Recommendations

Being consistent is key to being successful with any exercise and/or diet program. Exercising and eating a well-balanced diet every day is the best way to maintain a healthy body. If you decide to participate in an exercise program, make sure it is something that you enjoy doing. It will help you stick to the program and achieve your fitness goals. When working with a physical therapist, it is important to follow through with the prescribed program. By doing so, you will maximize your rehab potential and speed up your recovery.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
